Wooden casing is still the default for machinery that has to arrive intact, and the choice within it is really a choice about how much of the cargo you want enclosed. An open-slat crate is cost-effective, keeps the cargo visible for inspection and gives high ventilation. A fully sheathed heavy equipment box encloses everything behind thick wood, internal framing and bolted latches.

Europack manufactures all three. Wooden crates are ISPM-15 certified in standard and custom sizes. Heavy equipment boxes add thick sheathing, internal framing, shock dampening and CNC-cut panels sized to the cargo. Storage boxes are built for the long term — hinged lids, stackable corners, durable handles and pest-protected pine construction for equipment that will sit for months before it moves.
